Description of these options: 1) Tenderers may provide cover in respect of any 1 or more risks in respect of which cover is sought. Tenderers will be required to indicate any discounts that may be given for the award of a contract for more than 1 of those risks. Where a tenderer provides cover for multiple risks this will be deemed to be written under 1 policy.
(2) The Council will consider entering into a long term rebate agreement for 5 years with a unlilateral option for the Council to extend this for 1 or 2 further years, should any tenderer wish to offer the same. Full details including the proposed terms and conditions of such an offer must be set out in the tenderers bid.

Information and formalities necessary for evaluating if the requirements are met: As set out in the Directive and UK Regulations giving effect thereto. Persons or oganisations submitting expressions of interest will be required to complete a questionnaire and provide other information with regard to their economic and financial standing, ability and technical capacity.

Information and formalities necessary for evaluating if the requirements are met: The Council may require any means of proof authorised by the Directive or the UK Regulations giving effect thereto, including:
(i) appropriate banker’s statements or evidence or relevant professional risk indemnity insurance;
(ii) balance sheets or extracts from them;
(iii) a statement of the applicant’s overall turnover and turnover in respect of those services to which the contract relates for the previous 3 financial years;
(iv) details of other contracts for similar services which are being provided to other clients.

The Council may require any means of proof authorised by the Directive or the UK Regulations giving effect thereto, including:
(i) information regarding the applicant’s ability taking into account their efficiency, experience and reliability (and in particular evidence of their risk management capabilities);
(ii) the applicant’s technical capacity taking into account:
(a) the educational and professional qualifications of the applicant and/or those of the applicant’s management and those responsible for providing the service;
(b) references in relation to the principal services performed in the last 3 years (including certification or declaration in evidence of the clients);
(c) an indication of those persons who will be involved in delivery of the service;
(d) a statement of the average annual manpower and number of managerial staff for the last 3 years;
(e) a statement of the tools, plant or technical equipment available to perform the services (if relevant);
(f) the applicant’s technical resources and research and quality control measures;
(g) if required a certificate attesting conformity with relevant quality assurance standards; and
(h) an indication of the proportion of the contract (if any) to be supplied by subcontractors.
