Key themes of the procurement will be seamless patient transition right through the sexual health pathway ensuring evidence-based, accessible and convenient local services, value for money through careful deployment of finite resource based on the Essex Sexual Health Needs Assessment 2013, continuous service improvement responsive to patient and commissioner need, and first class relationship building with key local partners.
The contract duration is expected to be 7 years (84 months) with a maximum available budget of 8 200 000 GBP per annum and an additional 765 000 GBP for management of GUM Out of Area invoices.
This tender will follow a restricted 2-stage process with a contract commencement date of 1.4.2016.

Essex County Council reserves the right to cancel the procurement exercise and/or not to award all or part of a contract. Essex County Council will not be responsible for any costs incurred by Providers in relation to this procurement exercise.
