South Lakeland District Council (SLDC) and Eden District Council (EDC) are carrying out a joint procurement for their Internal Audit Services. Contractors are required to bid for the work at both Councils as two( 2) separate lots. The expectation is that a contractor will be appointed to deliver the service to both authorities, however each Authority reserves the right not to appoint the preferred contractor following evaluation. This could result in the contract being awarded for delivery to one (1) Authority only. Bidders should note that the two (2) Authorities have differing requirements.

South Lakeland District Council (SLDC) and Eden District Council (EDC) are carrying out a joint procurement for their Internal Audit Services. Contractors are required to bid for the work at both Councils as two (2) separate lots. The expectation is that a contractor will be appointed to deliver the service to both authorities, however each Authority reserves the right not to appoint the preferred contractor following evaluation. This could result in the contract being awarded for delivery to one (1) Authority only. Bidders should note that the two (2) Authorities have differing requirements. The initial contract term is for three (3) years, with two (2) optional one-year extension periods.
