The School aims to provide a safe and harmonious community in which students can flourish. Students are treated as individuals and receive outstanding care, support and guidance.
The School currently receives managed IT services from an external provider, with their current Contract due to expire later this year.
In light of the above, the School is looking to procure a competent and capable IT managed service provider who can support and enhance both the working and learning lives of staff and pupils respectively.

The Charles Dickens School is looking to let a Contract for IT management services, the scope of the Contract shall include, but shall not be limited to; management of the IT systems, upgrade of existing systems and management of all staff.
This Contract is being advertised as a singular lot as this is a fully managed service Contract.
The Charles Dickens School intends to let a Contract with a core duration of 3 years. At the conclusion of this core period there shall be the option of extension by a further 2 years, at yearly intervals.

VI.4.2)Lodging of appeals

Precise information on deadline(s) for lodging appeals: The Charles Dickens School will incorporate a standstill period at the point at which information on the award of the Contract is communicated to all tenderers. The notification will provide full information on the award decision. The standstill period, which will be for the minimum of 10 calendar days, provides time for unsuccessful tenderers to challenge the award decision before the Contract is entered into.
The Public Contracts Regulations 2015 (SI 2015 No.102) provide for aggrieved parties who have been harmed, or are at risk of harm by a breach of the rules to take action in the High Court (England, Wales and Northern Ireland).
