In addition Lancashire reserves the right to include, from time to time, any other Green Waste for which Lancashire is responsible for disposal.

II.2.1)Total quantity or scope:

Each contract requires the provision of a facility to accept and compost Green Waste (excluding kitchen waste) from participating Waste Collection Authorities (which provide household kerbside collections and undertake the cleansing and maintenance of public parks and like areas). In addition Lancashire reserves the right to include, from time to time, any other Green Waste for which Lancashire is responsible for disposal.
The tonnage capacity for each year of a contract will be determined by Lancashire County Council estimating its requirements. No minimum tonnages are guaranteed. The County Council may appoint more than one provider to supply these services.
The total quantity of Green Waste collected/arising per annum is approximately 13 000 tonnes. These services are being procured through four separate lots. More details are provided in the ITT document.
