The City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council (the Council) is responsible for the management of several closed landfill sites including Manywells and Sudgen End landfill sites (plus various other sites that may periodically require minor maintenance), all of which are within the district boundary. The Council is seeking to appoint a specialist contractor(s) to undertake a comprehensive inspection, servicing and maintenance (including emergency call out cover) of the environmental control systems, namely landfill gas collection and flaring, leachate collection and pumping. The contract will run for an initial three year period with the option to extend by a further two one year periods. All values given are for the initial period only and are indicative only as the Council can not guarantee future levels of activity.
