Title

Landscape review of resource efficiency training capacity within public sector organisations in Scotland

2.2

Description of the goods or services required

The purpose of this tender is to undertake a landscape review of the resource efficiency training materials that are used by public sector organisations across Scotland, to better understand the following:

-what existing training suites / facilities are wholly owned or are available to individual public sector organisations to deliver internal training

-what are the learning objectives and outcomes of any existing resource efficiency training and is any of this training mandatory

-which public sector organisations are providing resource efficiency training to their staff and how successful is the training at achieving its objectives

-what are the delivery mechanisms and methods of resource efficiency training

-what are the key barriers and benefits to public sector organisations and their employees of providing resource efficiency training

Although the review should cover the whole of the public sector, the primary focus should be on the following public sector organisations and their employees:

-All 32 Local Authorities

-A cross-section of 10 NHSS Boards including NHS Orkney, NHS Western Isles, NHS 24, The State Hospital and NHS Lothian.

-A cross-section on 10 Universities and Colleges including University of Dundee, University of the Highlands and Islands, University of St. Andrews, University of Edinburgh and University of Glasgow

-A small cross-section of 8 Non-Departmental Public Bodies (NDPBs) / Executive Agency including Scottish Natural Heritage (SNH), Police Scotland Scottish Environment Protection Agency (SEPA) and Historic Scotland
