Network Rail has spent the last two years rolling out lean in its LNE & EM Route. The company is now developing a continuous improvement process in Scotland, and requires specialist coaching support for the Scotland Route.
It should be noted that Network Rail does requires a more specialised, top end part of the coaching spectrum. The solution is intended to fast-track design and implementation.
Additionally, it is anticipated one or two coaches would be required that really understand change and previous continuous improvement experience.
The complexity and magnitude of skill required for this contract lends itself to the same individuals assigned throughout its duration.
Deep dive will also constitute a significant proportion of this work.
Following on from this and building on the lessons learned in LNE & EM, the Scotland Route wishes to implement an appropriately constructed leadership development programme, strongly based on one-to-one and group coaching, to enable mid-level managers to deliver this and continuous improvement process in Scotland.
We wish to appoint one supplier who will nominate up to a maximum of three named trainers to deliver this requirement.
It is to be noted that the estimated value of this contract is 540 000 GBP (for 18 months). It is anticipated the contract would be awarded with an option to extend by twelve months, to an estimated total value of 900 000 GBP.
