A supplier is sought to manage the procurement and administration of learning and development across Essex County Council. Delivery of this service is for the Social Care Directorates but there maybe an opportunity to expand the service into other areas.

Essex County Council requires a service provider to manage the procurement and administration of the Adult Social Care and Children’s Social Care training programmes. There may be a further requirement to include other areas within Essex County Council. The contract will be for a 3 year period with an option to extend for a further year.

The services to which the procurement relates fall within Part B of Schedule 3 of the Public Contracts Regulations 2006 (as amended) (“the Regulations”) and Annex IIB to Council Directive 2004/18/EC. This is a voluntary notice exempt from the normal OJEU regulations and as such the Authority reserves the right to follow timescales which are different to the standard restricted procedure.
