By a proof of concept (poc), Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust wishes to investigate the viability of providing pool cars with zero or low emissions as an alternative to staff using their own cars for business activities where public transport is not feasible. The POC will be for 12 months and shall take place at two of the Trusts locations with either four or six vehicles being deployed at each site to fully evaluate usage, benefits, savings etc.

II.2.1)Total quantity or scope:
The value of of the project depends on the success of the proof of concept. If successful, the Trust will have the option to extend for up to 3 more years and roll out to other Trust locations a. Likewise, if after 12 month costs of provision surpasses benefits, the Trust can stop the trial without treat of penalty (termination charges).

Description of these options: The initial period will be for the 12 month proof of concept trail. On conclusion of the proof of concept period if the trial has been successful, the Trust has the option to enter into a contractual agreement of up to 3 years.
