Link is seeking a Legionella Water Management contractor to assist in its delivery to collect data, monitor and manage our properties at risk. Link’s primary aim is to provide a water management service, which offers quality to the customer and represents value for money. It is also expected that this new contractual relationship will be a vehicle for sustained and measured improvements, greater efficiency, and better use of resources and increased.
The contract will include for weekly, monthly, 3 monthly, 6 monthly and annual checks, tests and inspections.
This is a four-year contract for the delivery of the water management plan for occupied domestic and commercial properties owned by Link Group and Horizon Housing Association. It is expected that the Principal Contractor will be wholly responsible for arranging access to tenant’s homes to carry out the monitoring required. The contractor should therefore have the necessary recourses in place to ensure the works are fully concluded within the time frame per development/scheme.

Reference to the relevant law, regulation or administrative provision: Service providers shall meet the minimum mandatory compliance criteria as follows:
i) Operate a currently Certified/Registered Quality Management System which has been independently Audited – Submission of both Registration Certificate and Audit Report is required;
ii) Currently registered under the Code of Conduct with the Legionella Control Association (LCA) and have been audited by the LCA. Submission of both Registration Certificate and Audit Report is required;
iii) Registered by the LCA as providing services in the following categories:
A – Risk Assessment
H – H & C Water Monitoring Services
M – Analytical Services
iv) Current Membership of The Water Management Society [WMS] – Submission of Membership Certificate required;
v) Have a written Company Health and Safety Policy – Copy Required;
vi) Have a written Company Environmental Policy – Copy Required;
vii) Partnered with a UKAS accredited (or equivalent) Laboratory which participates in the an external proficiency scheme such as that operated by the Health Protection Agency, for the purposes of analysing water samples, – evidence required;
viii) A suitably qualified and experienced proposed Service Team;
ix) Relevant technical experience;
