Circle wishes to enter into Contract with four service providers to carry out inspection, testing, servicing and maintenance of the following lifts and specialist lifting equipment in both commercial and domestic properties:

Through floor passenger lifts in communal areas of buildings.

Stair lifts, curved and straight tracked and disabled platform lifts in communal areas.

Stair lifts, curved and straight tracked and disabled platform lifts in customers’ homes.

Disabled access equipment, such as ceiling track hoists and fixed hoists and stretchers.

External step lifts.

And any other similar equipment that the client installs or is made aware of will be added to contract on a pro-rata basis.

Bidders should note the following:

TUPE may apply.

A number of Current Contract Expiry Dates are after the intended Contract Commencement Date of this contract, the services covered by these contracts will therefore form part of the contract as each existing contract expires.

Circle Anglia Limited which Comprises of: Circle Thirty Three Housing Trust Limited, Mercian Housing Association Limited, Merton Priory Homes, Mole Valley Housing Association Limited, Old Ford Housing Association, Roddons Housing Association Limited, Russet Homes Limited, South Anglia Housing Limited, Wherry Housing Association Limited is considering a transfer of its engagements pursuant to the Cooperative and Community Benefit Societes Act 2014 and the contracting entity will therefore be either Circle Anglia Limited and/or any member of the Circle Anglia group as detailed in Section 1.2 or any other entity to Circle Anglia Limited transfers the whole of its engagements pursuant to the Cooperative or Community Benefit Societies Act 2014 (‘the Act’) or formed as a result of an amalgamation Circle Anglia Limited and another housing association pursuant to the Act and/or any member of the new group.

The contract will contain rights for Circle Anglia to transfer the contract to a member of the existing group or any newly formed group.
