2. Nottinghamshire County Council is carrying out a project (Project TITAN) that is reviewing passenger transport services across the county and city and involved local people in the process, in order to provide local services to meet identified local needs, within a revised (reduced) budget. The aim of the council is to deliver savings in such a way that local needs are met without compromising quality. The initial pilot area is the area between Bingham and Newark and this is the subject of this tender. Project TITAN will be rolled out over other areas of the county in 2013-14.
