The framework approach has been selected in order to provide an efficient means of procuring a constructor for London Borough of Waltham Forests new build housing programme.

This scheme will be awarded on mobilisation of the framework subject to London Borough of Waltham Forests final approval by cabinet.

Following mobilisation of the framework, London Borough of Waltham Forest are intending to procure the construction of the schemes typically via two stage tender, with this framework providing the first stage in setting parameters for overheads and profit.

There is an immediate pipeline to deliver 300 homes with a contract value in excess of £50 million. Delivery of an initial 200 homes by March 2018 is critical in this.

The current intended schedule for the provision of the initial packages under the framework to the contractor are set out below. Design and planning is well underway, with the initial sites consented or currently in for planning.
