Belfast Health and Social Care Trust (the Contracting Authority) is seeking to establish a Contract or Contracts for maintenance and repair of Security Systems. This includes:
— Service and repairs of systems including Control Room equipment, CCTV, Access Control, Intruder Alarm Systems and Remote Monitoring.
— Provision of specialist attendance on site.
— Specialist System advice and assistance.
— Security data retrieval and viewing.
It should be noted that contracts(s) awarded may be modified as required, from time to time, to take account of ongoing BHSCT requirements for maintenance of systems covered by such contract(s). By way of explanation, as per the terms and Conditions of the contract(s), equipment may be added to or be removed from the scope of the Contract as required by BHSCT. Where applicable, each Lot may be modified by addition or removal of equipment or systems. It may also be necessary to increase or reduce the frequency of routine service visits for certain systems if deemed necessary by BHSCT.
Where necessary, the value of Contract(s) will be adjusted in accordance with the method described in SCC2 Special Conditions of Contract, clause 14.2.

The Contracting Authority shall enter into a Contract with each of the appointed Economic Operator. Contract details of shall be included in the Invitation to Tender (ITT) document. The various Contracts shall be governed by the laws of Northern Ireland and any dispute arising out of this procurement will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of Northern Ireland.

Minimum level(s) of standards possibly required: Economic Operators must have Public and Employer’s Liability Insurance with a value not less than 10 000 000 GBP. Economic Operators who currently have Insurance with a value less than these amounts shall be considered if they provide a statement which confirms that if successful, they will obtain the required values of Insurance prior to officialappointment.

Precise information on deadline(s) for lodging appeals: Belfast Health and Social Care Trust will incorporate a standstill period at the point information on the award of the contract is communicated to tenderers. That notification will provide full information on the award decision. The standstill period, which will be for a minimum of 10 calendar days, provides time for unsuccessful tenderers to challenge the award decision before the contract is entered into.
