Derby City Council (DCC) is seeking a partner to manage and operate Shaftesbury Sports Centre. There will also be an opportunity for the organisation to take on the management and operation of the Street Sports courts which is located at the top of of Shaftesbury Park
The aspirations of DCC Leisure Facilities and local ward members is to achieve four key outcomes:
– Increased participation in sport, physical activity and active – Improved quality and customer satisfaction
– Provision of services to the local community
– Improved health outcomes for the local community
DCC expects this procurement exercise to provide a long term solution in achieving the above outcomes which provides value for money over an extended period for the Council.
