Duration of the framework agreement

Duration in months: 74
Justification for a framework agreement, the duration of which exceeds four years: As there is a significant investment from schools to adopt a new Management Information or Financial Accounting System, a longer period is required to permit them to determine what will provide them the best solution and recoup their investment. The initial period will be for just over 4 years with the Authority having the option to extend for up to a further 2 years.

The Authority is seeking to implement a framework arrangement which will be divided into 6 Lots.
Lot 1 will be in respect of the Management Information System for all primary schools and academies nationally.
Lot 2 will be in respect of the Management Information System for all secondary schools and academies nationally.
Lot 3 will be for a Financial Accounting System for Local Authority (LA) maintained primary schools nationally.
Lot 4 will be for a Financial Accounting System for Local Authority (LA) maintained secondary schools nationally.
Lot 5 will be for a Financial Accounting System designed for use by primary Academies and Multi Academy Trusts available nationally.
Lot 6 will be for a Financial Accounting System for use by secondary Academies and Multi Academy Trusts nationally.
