Warrington Borough Council, in partnership with Warrington Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) and Warrington and Halton Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, are working together to support the improved transfer and management of patient data across health and social care providers in Warrington.

To enable improvements across a number of areas, including data flow, data security, staff culture and stakeholder engagement, the joint Health and Wellbeing Board and Local Strategic Partnership Board have approved a ‘Select Committee Inquiry’ style investigation into the current position, issues and barriers to data sharing.

The Council, with Warrington CCG and Warrington Hospital, are seeking to engage a contractor who is able to manage the Select Committee Inquiry process, including management of the Committee and its members, implementing the inquiry scope and committee terms of reference, carrying out or commissioning additional research as determined by the committee, committee processes and governance, oversight of the marketing and communications, and reporting of the findings.
