II.2.1)Total quantity or scope:

The framework is designed to cater for Network Rail’s market research requirements and will replace ad-hoc requirements and single contract awards as the primary means of commissioning such services.
This Framework of 5 years is being let in 3 Lots. Lots 1 and 2 will contain between 3-5 suppliers, the maximum being 5. Lot 3 will be provided by a single supplier.
Call off contracts for Lots 1 and 2 will be awarded by means of mini-competitions under Network Rail’s Standard NR2 (MT) contract.
Lot 3 will be awarded to a single supplier under Network Rails’s standards NR2 (MT) contract.

Lot 1 Research and Insight
We are looking for a number of suppliers to provide market research expertise to support Network Rail undertake research amongst its business and stakeholder groups during CP5
— This will include supporting the continuous corporate research programme that measures Network Rail’s reputation;
— Supporting all ad-hoc research requests around the business. Supporting B2B, B2C and employee research during CP5;
— Agencies will be expected to have experience in all the above research specialism’s and able to undertake quantitative, qualitative and ped counting;
— Providing market intelligence data and thought readership capabilities to bring insight and support around building the reputation of Network Rail.
Lot 2 Politicians
We are seeking agencies that can deliver in the niche market of research amongst political (minimum: MPs/MSPs/WAMs) stakeholders.
— Suppliers will be required to provide a full service: qualitative and quantitative.
Lot 3 Online Tool
We require a supplier to provide a research tool for employees of NR to undertake their own surveys.
The successful supplier will:
— Provide a solution that allows for unlimited users and surveys;
— Provide training;
— Provide questionnaire templates as agreed with Network Rail’s market research team;
— Provide a solution which is simple.
Estimated value excluding VAT
