- In working towards delivering the growth aspirations of Kingston, as set out in the adopted Kingston Futures Vision and Strategy and the ‘statement on growth’ published by the Kingston Strategic Partnership, it is important that we market the Borough as both a business and investment destination. To achieve this in the most effective way we need to produce a marketing strategy that includes a market audit, a clear statement of target market segments and a marketing activity plan to address the segments identified.
The second part of this commission will be to manage the delivery of that marketing activity including event organisation and event specific promotional material. The provider will also be required to bring in sponsorship to match fund these events. Effective event management takes a particular combination of design and logistics and expertise in bringing in sponsorship is an additional specific requirement that only consultants specialising in this field posses.
