Sefton Council is looking for a suitable supplier for the provision, delivery, erection and collection of various Marquees at the Southport Food and Drink Festival and the Southport Air Show. Background Sefton Council’s Tourism Section is responsible for arranging events for the Southport area which includes the Southport Food and Drink Festival and the Southport Air show. They are hugely popular events that are well attended. Specification • Southport Food and Drink Festival to be held 3rd to 5th June 2016 1 x 18m x 9m aluminium framed marquee with wooded floor 1 x 9m x 9m aluminium framed marquee 1 x 30m x 9m aluminium framed marquee with wooden floor, sides open with one 9m end closed over to create a covered seated area. All 3 Marquees are to be located on a grassed area. Prices to include delivery, erection and collection. Delivery date: Thursday 2nd June 2016, and in place and usable by the end of the day. Collection date: Monday 6th June 2016 and removed from site before 17:00 hrs. 24 hour standby is essential in the event of an emergency. Marquees must be heavy duty and white in colour. PLEASE SUBMIT IMAGES OF MARQUEES WITH YOUR SUBMISSION • Southport Air show to be held 9th ,10th and 11th September 2016 1 x 30m x 12m aluminium framed marquee with wooden floor and a window wall down one length, to be located on a grassed area. 3 x 3m x 3m two sided entrance marquees, one located on grass, two on hard standing. 1 x 21m x 9m aluminium framed marquee, to be located on the beach. 1 x 6m x 3m aluminium framed marquee, to be located on the beach. 1 x 3m x 3m aluminium framed marquee, to be located on grass or hard standing. 1 x 6m x 3m aluminium framed marquee, to be located on grass or hard standing. We will also require a number of 3m x 3m and 3m x 6m marquees, but will not be able to confirm numbers until nearer the event. Please price these extra requirements on an individual basis, per marquee. For the purpose of evaluation we will use a quantity of 1 of each size for the extra marquee requirement. We cannot guarantee we will require the extra marquees. Price to include delivery, erection and collection and any bowsers required. Delivery date: Tuesday 6th September 2016. All marquees to be in place by 12 noon Thursday 8th September 2016. Collection date: Monday 12th September 2016, before 17:00 hrs. 24 hour standby is essential in the event of an emergency.
