Our mission is to develop Scotland as a ‘must visit’ destination where the visitor’s needs come first and tourism makes a vital contribution to economic growth. To realise our mission we actively market, promote and support Scotland’s many historical, natural, cultural and sporting assets as well as conference venues throughout the UK and overseas.

VisitScotland has been commissioning research to evaluate the effectiveness of its UK and Ireland marketing activity for a number of years and is currently seeking to appoint an agency to continue this activity.
