The University has a contract opportunity for the provision of Medical and Health and Safety training primarily for the maritime industries to meet the growing international demand for crew, officers and captains who are trained to the highest professional standards, but the tender also includes elements of sport and general first aid for the wider University community. Bidders are invited to submit a proposal that is able to meet the requirements as set out in the Invitation to Tender documentation.

4) Oxygen Administration Health and Safety Executive (HSE):

As a minimum requirement: a) All trainers and assessors must hold a first aid qualification or professional medical registration;

III.1.2)Economic and financial standing

List and brief description of selection criteria:

Information and formalities necessary for evaluating if the requirements are met: In accordance with the Public Contracts Regulations 2015. To support the financial assessment the University will obtain a financial appraisal report from Creditsafe. This report provides the University with an overall Risk Score which will be used to assess the applicants financial standing. A suitable Performance Bond or Parent Company Guarantee may at the University’s discretion be accepted and allowed to override a credit score classed as below expectation (less than 40) Further details are provided in the ITT. Minimum level(s) of standards possibly required: Organisations are advised that the following minimum insurance levels are required:

— Employers Liability 5 000 000 GBP for Lot 1-3 and 10 000 000 GBP for Lot 4,

— Public Liability 10 000 000 GBP,

— Professional Indemnity 5 000 000 GBP for Lot 1-3 and 10 000 000 GBP for Lot 4.

For organisations with insurance levels in currencies other than GBP, equivalent currency standards at the time of submission will apply.
