This is a voluntary notice for the MHISC service, which will provide evidence based targeted mental health interventions for children in educational settings with mild to moderate mental health and emotional well-being issues. Solihull MBC may wish to join in on this contract, but do not currently have the confirmed budget.
The service will be provided to children and young people at educational establishments (aged 4 -18) who have had an identified mental health / emotional well-being need by a Common Assessment Framework (CAF) process.
The service will work to achieve the following outcomes:
— demonstrable evidence through outcome tools of increased mental health, resilience, and reduced distress,
— children and young people report a positive experience from the intervention,
— children and young people state that their mental health and emotional wellbeing has improved.

CAF Officers will use the Framework to determine which Provider can best meets the need of the child or young person using the following procedure:
a. Identify providers who can deliver services where the child or young person is based.
b. Select the provider(s) whose services meet the needs of the child or young person as per their CAF assessment.
c. If more than one provider is able to deliver appropriate services to the child or young person, the CAF Officer will call-off the lowest priced provider.
d. If the Provider identified is unable to provide the service within the required timescales, for any reason, the CAF Officer will offer the work to the second lowest priced provider on the framework.

Warwickshire County Council is seeking tenders for mental health interventions for school children. This is a voluntary notice as we believe the service is covered by Part B of the regulations. Solihull Council is also cited in this contract notice. There is no guarantee that this authority may use this contract.
The expected maximum value of Warwickshire County Council is 780 000 GBP. The renewal of this framework is subject to continued funding.
