The services aim to:
1) Increased understanding about local resources that support mental health, wellbeing and recovery for all stakeholders including service users, carers, clinical professionals and colleagues who work in other Information, advice and guidance services;
2) Increased access and connection to the correct community, health or social care resources;
3) Increased economic wellbeing through enabling access to the correct welfare benefits;
4) Decreased social isolation through the provision of a community “place of safety” for people within all stages of recovery which offers opportunities to increase support networks and community inclusion through offering a drop in service and access to a constant programme of activities;
5) Improved support for those in the first stages of crisis through delivery of sympathetic listening and practical advice.
