As well as Authorised Persons duties at various frontline stations throughout the UK.

Precise information on deadline(s) for lodging appeals: In accordance with Regulation 32, the Met Office is obliged to allow a period of at least 10 calendar days to elapse between the date of announcement of its decision to enter into the contract and the date of entry into the contract. The standstill period during which the Met Office will refrain from entering into the contract with the Successful Tenderer is 10 calendar days. The bringing of court proceedings against the Authority during the standstill period will automatically continue the probhibition on entering into the contract until the court proceedings are determined, discontinued, or disposed off, or the court, by interim order, brings to an end the prohibition.
