These disciplines are required to provide a range of key services, most notably:

Professional opinion and technical construction advice;

Cost control (quantity surveying) services;

Contract administration;

Clerk of Works (quality control and monitoring of construction work on site);

Building surveying and Mechanical and Electrical services; and

Statutory Health and Safety construction management and planning to enable the council to comply with its obligations under the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015.
