1)Short description

First Wessex has a range of existing contracts in place providing brickwork and general masonry repairs to all its stock throughout Portsmouth, Eastleigh and Aldershot areas. The key aspects of this service shall include the following (but not restricted to):
1. Demolition of existing brickwork and masonry walls/structures (this will be small scale works). First Wessex will appoint a specialist demolition contractor when the demolition works are deemed to be a standalone project).
2. Construction of new brickwork.
3. Cut out existing defective brickwork and stitch in new.
4. Repointing.
5. Chimney repairs.
6. Crack monitoring.
7. Cavity clearing.
8. Stucco repairs.
9. Hacking off and re-rendering.
10. Masonry waterproofing works.
11. Replacement of structural masonry (lintels, window cills).
