HC21 currently have 57 Multi Functional Devices, purchased across three different agreements and located across a variety of its schemes. Due to changes within the business over the past two years, that number has reduced significantly meaning that only 36 are still required and used on a daily basis. The fleet is mixed, with most devices offering mono copying and a few providing a colour facility.
The objective of this tender exercise is to appoint a supplier to provide replacement devices for HC21’s existing fleet. The new agreement should look to consolidate all existing devices onto one contract and apply cost savings on both the rental of each device and the cost per copy/print. HC21 are looking for the devices to be part of a managed service thereby encapsulating all key service elements into the rental costs.
