Establish a framework of suppliers for the provision of a range of furniture products and solution contracts within the UK. The framework will cover, but is not limited to, the design, installation, deployment and delivery of office, education and residential based furniture. The Framework Agreement will be established for a period of 3 years from 1.3.2019, with the option to extend for a further period of up to 1 year at the discretion of the Contracting Authority and subject to satisfactory performance. This Framework Agreement is being advertised and tendered, so it can be utilised by all public-sector bodies (including Charities) in the UK. Public sector bodies as outlined above who may wish to access this framework at some future date may approach the appointed organisation(s) and either call off or further compete their requirement. Please see attached synopsis for the full list of Public Sector Organisations that can access the framework.

The Education Alliance as a body governed by public law will incorporate a minimum of 10 calendar days standstill period at the point that information on the award of contract is communicated to tenderers. If an appeal regarding the award of the framework has not been successfully resolved, then the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 provide for aggrieved parties who have been harmed or are at risk of harm by breach of the rules to take action in the High Court. Any such action must be brought promptly.
