Description of the goods or services required

The National Museums Scotland (NMS) wish to purchase a temporary wall system for use in their special exhibition galleries at The National Museum of Scotland, Chambers Street, Edinburgh.

The successful contractor will be required to supply and deliver the system to the museum in Chambers Street and thereafter to train museum technicians in the erecting and dismantling of the system.

3 Conditions for Participation

3.1

Minimum standards and qualification required

The contract will be awarded on the basis of the tender submission that is most advantageous to NMS as defined by the evaluation criteria.

Whilst the price offered is important, other aspects of the tender submission will also be given due consideration.

The contractor chosen will ideally have previously demonstrated the successful delivery of similar wall systems preferably within a museum context.

Each tender will be subject to an analysis of the Quality/Price (60/40) Evaluation Criteria. The aim of the evaluation is to select the tender which represents the most economically advantageous tender.
