The chosen supplier will be required to provide Development Management services in order to;

1. Maintain the operational status of the existing ePortfolio system and implement functionality requested by a range of stakeholders

2. Develop functionality and processes to assist with the enhancement and commercialisation of the Turas platform; and the integration of ePortfolio within the platform.

II.2.4)Description of the procurement:

To ensure best value, and to reflect the realities of budget pressures and changing user needs, this tender aims to maximise flexibility in the service arrangements. It asks suppliers to put forward fixed term proposals for a two-year contract (1 year committed + 3 x 4 months), with breakpoints at the end of each period where NES can review service usage, user needs and feedback, and any changes in supplier offerings. NES reserve the right to terminate the contract at each breakpoint.

The following will be the endings of each period:

Year 1 31.3.2019

1st 4 months 31.7.2019

2nd 4 months 30.11.2019

3rd and final 4 months 31.3.2020

ESPD Question 4B.5 Insurance

The bidder must have or will commit to obtain prior to the commencement of the contract, the following levels of Insurance cover:

Employer’s Liability Insurance covering the death of or bodily injuries to employees of the Bidder arising out of and in the course of their employment in connection with this contract to the level of 5,000,000 GBP in respect of each claim, without limit to the number of claims.

Public Liability Insurance covering the death of or bodily injury to a person (not an employee of the Bidder) or loss of or damage to property resulting from an action or failure to take action by the Bidder to the level of 1,000,000 GBP in respect of each claim, without limit to the number of claims.

Professional Indemnity Insurance covering the failure of the Bidder to use the skill and care normally used by professionals providing the services described in this tender to the level of 1,000,000 GBP in respect of each claim, without limit to the number of claims.

For bidders who will sub contract parts of the business, the bidder should provide a letter signed by a person of appropriate authority confirming that the bidder has ongoing arrangements in place to ensure that sub-contractors has the appropriately insurance.
