NTU, in partnership with University of Nottingham & University of Derby have been awarded funding from the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) to deliver innovation support to SMEs in the D2N2 (Derbyshire & Nottinghamshire) area, through the Enabling Innovation (EI) project. The support offered through EI will be delivered via a variety of formats including workshops, seminars, engagement events as well as individual technical & consultancy support. The project activity will run until March 2019 & will be delivered both at NTU & offsite. NTU has an in-house Catering Department that prepares meals & snacks for its staff & students on its three campuses based in Nottingham City Centre, at Clifton & at Brackenhurst, near Southwell. However, due to funding restrictions, it is not possible for catering requirements to be provided by these in-house catering facilities for this project. NB:- This tender only covers catering requirements for this specific project. All other on-site catering requirements will continue to be provided by our in-house catering provision. LOT ll – Provision of Catering Services to EI events held at the University’s Clifton Campus (NG11). LOT lll – Provision of Catering Services to EI events held at NTU’s Brackenhurst Campus at Southwell (NG25). Please note the following points:- • Tenderers are invited to tender for any or all of the above Lots. • For questions where responses would differ depending on the campus location, tenderers who are tendering for more than one Lot should provide details relating to the provision of catering services to the Campus concerned for each Lot. The Contract shall be awarded for the life of the project activity which will run until March 2019. The anticipated start date of the contract is 1st December 2016. It is estimated that the contract will have an approximate total value of £50K (ex VAT) over the life of the project activity. It is not possible to break this down into spend for each Lot but it is anticipated that spend will be higher for Lot l than for Lots ll & lll. This figure is entirely indicative & should not be construed as a guarantee of future business levels, which may fluctuate. The estimated value given above is subject to the following factors:- – The type of event being held (i.e. seminar, workshop, meeting or large event). – The number of delegates (this could range from 5 – 30 for meetings & workshops to 30 – 300 for seminars & large events). – The frequency of events held (indicatively 6 events per month but events held off-site will not fall into the scoof this tender. Menu requirements including but not limited to breakfasts, hot/cold buffet lunches, canapes etc (exact requirements will vary depending on the type of event being held)
