The NDA undertakes a range of performance assurance activities across our Estate including our subsidiaries and Site Licence Companies. These activities aim to provide a basis from which to generate confidence in the delivery of our mission as well as to inform decisions, manage performance and communicate with stakeholders. NDA assurance supports the NDA’s Accounting Officer to discharge his accountabilities for the delivery of the mission by informing governance decisions and interventions through strategic risk based assurance and analysis. The primary scope of this contract is the provision of an NDA ‘assurance partner’. It is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced organisation to work with and to develop a longer term trusted relationship that will:
— Build upon and complement our own capabilities;
— Supplement our resources and support the NDA in the execution of its oversight duties;
— Provide independent, contemporary real world experience of the development and delivery of major infrastructure programmes from a client perspective;
— Provide resources and expertise to supplement NDA capability in the provision of assurance to clients and UK government around the delivery of major infrastructure projects.
The Framework will be an initial 24-month appointment with extension options of 2 increments of 12-months (Maximum 48-month term).

Minimum level(s) of standards possibly required: The financial information provided by the Potential Provider provides evidence that there has been no qualification of audited accounts in the past 2 consecutive years(or, where the Potential Provider is a Consortium, that no member of the Consortium has accounts that are qualified); and shows that the financial standing of the Potential Provider is such that a Dun and Bradstreet Risk Indicator rating of 1 or 2 would be achieved (or in the case of a Consortium, the financial information submitted by any member of the Consortium shows that each member would achieve a Risk Indicator rating of 1 or 2) or, if the Risk Indicator rating would be greater than 2, the Potential Provider has presented evidence of mitigating circumstances that in NDA’s sole discretion demonstrates that the Potential Provider is sufficiently financially robust to deliver the requirement.
