The NWUPC has a requirement to establish a Framework Agreement for the Supply, Delivery and Installation of White Goods and Associated Products and Services. The Authority is managing this procurement process in accordance with the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 (the ‘Regulations’) on behalf of members of NWUPC, APUC, HEPCW, LUPC, NEUPC, SUPC and CPC.

The Authority is procuring the Framework Agreement as a central purchasing body for itself and Other Contracting Bodies (OCB). This means that OCBs referred to in the OJEU Notice may also participate in the Framework Agreement.
The Contract Notice has been advertised in the Supplement to the Official Journal of the European Union and the Tender is being conducted under the EU Procurement Directives, open Procedure.
This Framework Agreement will commence on 1.9.2016 for an initial period of 24 months until 31.8.2018 with the option to extend the Agreement for 2 x 12 months until 31.8.2020 subject to satisfactory supplier performance.
The scope is for the Supply, Delivery and Installation of White Goods and Associated Products and Service includes, but is not limited to, the following: Table 1:
— Refrigeration;
— Fridges, fridge/freezers, freezers, under counter fridges and freezers, built under fridges, under counter larders, upright larders and freezers, wine cellars, mini bars;
— Cookers/Ovens;
— Cookers, ovens, hobs, hoods, chimney extractor hoods, fan ovens, solid plate hobs, ceramic hobs, table top cookers;
— Washing Machines;
— Washing machines, Washer/Dryers.;
— Tumble Dryers;
— Tumble Dryers, Condenser Tumble Dryers;
— Dishwashers;
— Built in dishwashers, Dishwashers;
— Miscellaneous;
— Kettles, Toasters, Microwaves, Microwave and Grill, Microwave Grill Convection Oven, Vacuum Cleaners, Steam Irons, Heaters, Sandwich Toasters, Rice Cookers.

All Agreements resulting from this Tender should be made available to and apply to all current and future members of the participating consortia. It should also apply, with the express written permission of the Authority, to any member of any other Higher or Further Education regional purchasing consortium or any other Higher Education Institution in the United Kingdom as well as the Research Councils, providing that they formally commit to participate in and support this Agreement. The Authority will only grant permission at the request of the consortium; or an Institution if it is not a member of a Consortium. This Agreement is not intended to replace any current Agreements that either participating or non-participating Consortia may already have in place.
