St Helens Council are currently in the early stages of an Office 365 proof of concept. It is clear from these early stages, staff within the Business IT unit need to fully understand the product capabilities including its set-up, on-going maintenance, development and end user support provision. To date staff have: ? Implemented Active Directory synchronisation to Azure AD along with a 3rd party support provider to enable St.Helens Council to leverage an AD cloud presence. This has in turn provided us with the ability to utilise the Microsoft Intune MDM product as part of our hybrid SCCM installation to manage corporately owned devices (Windows Phone & iOS). ? Undertaken the Microsoft O365 FastTrak service – infrastructure prerequisites and completed a basic deployment of Office 2016 and One Drive for Business The Council would prefer for the courses to be held on-site at Council premises. If this cannot be achieved, the course must be available within a 20-mile radius of WA10 1UQ. To this end, St Helens Council is now seeking to undertake training in the following areas over the next six to twelve months. We require all of the courses to be supplied by one supplier.
