II.2.4)Description of the procurement:
The Education Workforce Council (EWC) wishes to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced supplier to develop a new website that is a service driven platform which promotes careers within the education workforce, promotes job vacancies and facilitates initial applications to improve its visibility and search rankings. The website should aim to be the initial helpdesk and ‘shop window’ for the sector’s workforce from applying for initial entry training to continued professional learning and career progression enquires.
The contract duration is 5 years with an option to extend (at the discretion of the EWC) for up to 2 additional periods of 12 months.
Notwithstanding that ‘Section II.2.6 — Estimated Value’ states that the estimated value of the contract is 400 000 GBP, the estimated value of the contract is between 300 000 GBP to 400 000 GBP, exclusive of VAT.

All tender costs and liabilities incurred by bidders shall be the sole responsibility of bidders.
The EWC reserves the right to award the contract in whole or in part.
The EWC reserves the right to annul the tendering process and not award any contract.
Bidders will be required to enter into the terms and conditions of contract (contract) as set out in the procurement documents; save for matters of clarification or consistency, the contract is non-negotiable.
No contractual rights expressed or implied arise out of this notice or the procedure envisaged by this notice.
EWC reserves the right to disqualify any bidder who provides information or confirmations which later prove to be untrue or incorrect; does not supply the information required by this tender or as otherwise directed during the procurement process; or does not meet the selection criteria stated in the invitation to tender document.
