The Organisational Development (OD) team within HR defines and builds the capabilities the FCA needs in order to perform its role effectively today – and in the future. The team sets the performance standards we expect, assesses progress against these via processes such as performance management and engagement surveys, and develops the capabilities required — through our FCA Academy.
The FCA Academy currently offers leadership, management and technical education, utilising internal subject matter experts, niche providers and leading business schools. It allows colleagues to develop the professional excellence required to do their role well, and to develop behaviours, skills and knowledge and build experience to support their career aspirations. Access to the FCA Academy is part of our commitment to offering important and interesting work and career development to all those who choose to work with us.
As a result of the changes that the FCA has experienced since its inception in 2013, and the integration of the L&D team into the OD team, a broader set of organisational development requirements has emerged together with the need for a revised and expanded supplier list to support the FCA Academy.
