Expressions of interest are invited from suitably qualified and experienced organisations with a track record of successfully providing an Outcome Focused Homecare Service, including support planning, within a diverse and multicultural borough such as Hackney. The Homecare service has been divided into 7 Lots: Lots 1 to 4 will be geographical block contracts. Lot 5 will provide borough-wide services to the Orthodox Jewish community and Lot 6 will provide borough-wide services to the Turkish/Kurdish community. Lot 7 will be a borough-wide Night Service.
The current contract arrangement will end in June 2015 and the new contracts will be for a period of three (3) years to commence from April 2015 ( to allow an implementation period)
until March 2018, with the possibility of extension of up to two (2) years (subject to satisfactory performance and the agreement of the Council).
Details of the requirements for these services are included within the Pre-Qualification Questionnaire [PQQ] document pack.
Organisations planning to tender for the contract must also be aware that TUPE conditions “The Transfer of Undertakings (Protection of Employment) Regulations 2006” as amended by the “Collective Redundancies and Transfer of Undertakings (Protection of Employment) (Amendment) Regulations 2014” may apply.

These contracts will be of interest to organisations with a track record of successfully providing an Outcome Focused Homecare Service, including support planning, within a diverse and multicultural borough such as Hackney.
Organisations may bid for Lots 1-6; however an organisation will only be awarded the Contract for one of these
Lots. Lot 7 will be awarded to the highest bidder of Lots 1-6, and will not be awarded on its own. Lots 1 to 4 will provide approximately 2,400 hours a week each, Lot 5 1,508 hours and Lot 6 697 hours.
