A managed service arrangement for the supply, commissioning, ongoing support and monitoring of a system enabling processing and analysis of blood and body fluids for predominantly clinical biochemistry and virology services. The system must conform to the requisite UK regulations and quality standards for medical laboratory services, and must be capable of handling and streamlining the workload commensurate with a City wide acute Trust Pathology Service delivered across 2 sites.
The estimated annual volumes (as will be stated in the tender) may vary during the life of this contract. This could be dependant on changes locally, regionally or nationally.
This contract will be awarded for a period of 7 years, with an option to extend for a further 3 years.
