1. Post Office and PayPoint Counters. Tenants are issued with a plastic swipe card which is presented at the Post Office/PayPoint Counter along with the payment (i.e. cash, debit card etc.). The service required includes the personalisation and despatch of payment cards.
2. Direct Debit. A service is required which enables DGHP to outsource the regular collection of Direct Debits. A web-based portal will be required to set up paperless Direct Debits which can be collected on any day of the week/month.
3. Merchant Acquiring. DGHP will require a fully managed service which enables the collection of debit and credit card payments via the internet (i.e. a link will be placed on the DGHP website to the appropriate payment portal). A web-based ‘virtual terminal’ will also be needed to enable DGHP to accept card payments via the telephone.
