Description of the goods or services requiredNorth Lanarkshire Council wishes to appoint an experienced social care provider with the skills and capacity to develop and deliver a peer support and information service for adults with a lived experience of mental ill health. It is the council’s expectation that this service will: – Be accessible and accountable – Promote each individuals understanding of their mental health, wellbeing and recovery – Increase access to peer support services – Establish and ensure that clear referral and exit pathways are identified – Provide information and assistance on mental health and wellbeing and in accessing other services, education, employment, housing and any other relevant agencies. The service provision will take place from a central base within North Lanarkshire and will provide the service throughout the authority.
