Description of the contract
Bromsgrove District Council as Host Authority for Worcestershire Regulatory Services, (WRS), is seeking expressions of interest from companies who can supply pest control management and treatment services on behalf of Bromsgrove, Redditch, Wychavon and Wyre Forest District Councils. Treatment would be specifically to deal with “pests of public health significance” and these are commonly categorised as: Rats, Mice, Fleas, Bed Bugs, and Cockroaches, and in addition the destruction of wasp’s nests. Treatment on behalf of the council’s will be on behalf of domestic residential householders. The successful contractors engaged will however be able to offer treatment for other pests not specified above and not funded by the council’s as a part of this agreement and advertised on the relevant web pages of the service. In addition to treatment services, the contractors will be asked to provide an hourly rate charge for visits to provide advice and guidance on behalf of the partner councils and to undertake sewer baiting for rats.
