II.2.1)Total quantity or scope:
Sites may comprise of one or multiple buildings and consist of a broad range of public buildings such as residential units, fire stations, libraries and offices. Some buildings, by the nature of their usage, are in operation 24/7 and are of a sensitive business nature. Therefore, some of the work that will be required under this contract may be required outside standard working hours due to the nature of the service the building provides.
The number of sites to be included in the contract currently stands at 149, with a total Gross Internal Area (GIA) of 130 627 square metres. Sites range from 83 square metres to 11 494 square metres.
The above figure should be taken as a guide only as the Council’s property portfolio is likely to vary over the contract term.

Precise information on deadline(s) for lodging appeals: In accordance with Regulations 32 and 32A of the UK Public Contracts Regulations 2006 (as amended), LGSS, on behalf of the Contracting Authority, will incorporate a minimum 10 calendar day standstill period at the point information on the award of the contract is communicated to bidders. This period allows unsuccessful bidders to seek further debriefing from the Contracting Authority before the contract is entered into.
