Lot 1 scope: The internal works could include heating/central heating renewal, electrical rewires, bathroom replacement, kitchen replacement, internal painting, floor coverings, loft insulation, building alteration works such as internal wall removal, structural works such as RSJ installation, aids and adaptations requiring component replacement, works within communal areas of low rise flat blocks, major capital works within void properties, asbestos removal associated with the programme, Damp Proof Courses, construction project management services, asbestos surveys, damp surveys, structural surveys and design solutions. Shoreline Housing Partnership anticipates that purchases will be made via the framework agreement through a combination of direct award and mini-competition. Further background information is available in a Contractor Briefing Pack (generic to both lots) which can be obtained by visiting the portal referred to in I.1 of this notice.
Contractors who wish to participate in both Lots 1 and 2 should note that they are required to register separately for each of the lots using the two different Access Codes referred to in each of the lot details.
This framework does not include work to any properties with leaseholders where significant costs in relation to that work are to be recharged to those leaseholders. It is envisaged that these works will be procured outside the framework following statutory consultation with leaseholders.
The right is reserved not to proceed or not to enter into any framework agreement or enter into any contract for the whole or part of proposed procurement. Neither Shoreline Housing Partnership nor any of its advisers are to be liable for any costs incurred by any person or organisation expressing an interest or tendering for this contract. Precise information on deadline(s) for lodging appeals: The contracting authority will incorporate a standstill period when the contract award decision is communicated to tenderers. This notification will provide the information that tenderers are legally entitled to regarding the award decision. The standstill period provides time for unsuccessful tenderers to challenge the award decision before the contract is entered into.
