Reawla Play Park (RPP) is a well used public open space in the village of Reawla, Hayle. The park is owned and managed by Gwinear-Gwithian Parish Council (GGPC). The current equipment within the park, some of which will be required to be moved/removed was erected around 2001.
Brief description of works
To secure site and refurbish Areas A & D of the project plan to include moving/removing existing equipment, carry out earth works to include landscaping, pathway, soft works and installation of new equipment/safety surfacing, either as a whole with project management or in part.
Timeframe for works
The works will be required to commence from March 2018 and the project needs to be completed by the end of August 2018. Contractors will need to work closely with GGPC and give weekly updates on progress.
Submission of tender quote documents
I should be pleased to receive your tender submission, together with a detailed assessment showing proposed equipment and returned to me no later than Wednesday 3rd January 2018. Tenders received after the deadline WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED
You may submit a tender for all or part of the project.
TENDER DOCUMENTS MUST BE SEALED IN THE ENVELOPE WHICH WILL BE PROVIDED BY THE PARISH COUNCIL. The envelope shall not show any name or any other mark (e.g. postal of franking devices on the envelope) by which the tenderer can be identified. Tenders received by any other method (e.g. in another envelope or emailed) will NOT BE ACCEPTED
Where tenders are delivered by post or courier, they must be delivered to the address during normal working hours, 9am – 12noon Monday to Friday excluding statutory holidays, and a receipt obtained. Proof of postage will not be accepted as proof of delivery and it is for the tenderer to ensure that the document is delivered and a suitable receipt received, the Council takes no responsibility for tenders which are not delivered securely.
