Please note that engineers employed to undertake any activity included in this specification (portable appliance testing and fixed appliance testing) must be qualified electricians who also hold City and Guilds 2377-22. We will disqualify all submissions which do not meet this criteria e.g. if engineers hold PAT C&G qualifications only.

Blackpool Council is looking to appoint a single supplier to carry out portable & fixed appliance testing of electrical equipment. It shall be the duty of the Contractor to carry out the testing of all portable and fixed appliances, as defined in the Specification.

Please note that engineers employed to undertake any activity included in this specification (portable appliance testing and fixed appliance testing) must be qualified electricians who also hold City and Guilds 2377-22. We will disqualify all submissions which do not meet this criteria e.g. if engineers hold PAT C&G qualifications only.

Engineers employed to undertake any activity included in this specification (portable appliance testing and fixed appliance testing) must be qualified electricians who also hold City and Guilds 2377-22. We will disqualify all submissions which do not meet this criteria e.g. if engineers hold PAT C&G qualifications only.

It is a requirement of this contract that the successful bidder is Approved Contractors registered with the National Inspection Council for Electrical Installation Contracting (NICEIC) or the Electrical Contractors Association (ECA).

It is a requirement of this contract that the successful bidder has a current CHAS membership or membership from one of the SSIP Forum Registered Members.
