Description

Wolverhampton City Council in association with its partner Black Country local authorities, the Black Country LEP and the University of Wolverhampton invites quotations for the development of two West Midlands Virtual Object web portals to help support their interventions with the aerospace and rail industries in the region. The Virtual Object portals for the aerospace and rail industries will be free-to-use virtual ‘walk-through’ portals to showcase the region’s diverse supply chains which are capable of providing everything required for current and future aerospace and rail developments. Each will contain a comprehensive repository of local manufactured materials, technical specifications and suppliers and the system will make responsible procurement much easier for client buyers, (including design teams working on concept designs for real aerospace and rail products) giving an instant overview of the products, materials and expertise available here in the West Midlands.
