Health Education North West (HENW) is seeking a Higher Education Institution (HEI), either individual or in consortium, to deliver a medical leadership training programme that is accredited as a postgraduate qualification at Masters level, and which will allow progression routes for individuals who wish to develop further in medical leadership.
HENW will fund up to 250 specialty trainees on an annual basis to undertake a module that provides the trainee with the medical leadership knowledge and skills required to be an effective GP, Dental Practitioner, Dental Specialist or Medical or Dental Consultant. The number of commissioned places is less than the expected total number of eligible trainees in any given year. This is to ensure retention levels are maintained.
The programme should include progression options for students who may wish to continue with their academic studies.

Range: between 75 000 and 100 000 GBP
