The purpose of this document is to invite tenders for a single contract to carry out the development and delivery of a PR campaign for the opening of the Horniman’s World Gallery. The World Gallery is a key component of the Horniman’s wider project to redisplay its designated anthropology collection, develop a new Studio space to feature artistic and community responses to the collection, and create an extensive Learning and Engagement programme based on and inspired by the new gallery.
The PR campaign should use the World Gallery opening to position the Horniman as a must-visit venue and as an authoritative voice in the field of museum anthropology.
The campaign should include activity before, during and after the World Gallery opening, currently scheduled for spring 2018, and maintain media momentum for the opening of The Studio, currently scheduled for summer 2018.
